For the purpose of qualifying for complimentary registration for full-time population and public health academics or students the following applies: (1) “academic” shall apply to individuals who are full time teaching staff (i.e., a faculty member at a medical school or hospital residency program who also sees patients is a provider, not an academic); (2) “student” shall apply to individuals who are full-time students in high school, college or graduate school studying population or public health. Students in part-time academic programs while working do not qualify.
